<description>September will be a huge month for us as our first baby arrives in BC Womens Hospital, Vancouver Canada.

All is well with the only complaint from soon-to-be-Mum is...'I cant see my toes!!!'</description>

<description>I&#8217;ve been blasting around the streets on my new-to-me bike. It&#8217;s a Honda 250 Hornet. A sort of a naked stunt bike. Sorting it out has been troublesome with no mechanics knowing how to deal with four cylinders. A few bad parts have been replaced and needing a cdi to make it really scream. It sounds like a jet turbine with its gear driven cams. I have my gps mounted on the bars to help me not get lost, which is usual. A new clutch, carb parts plugs, tune-up, puncture repair and electrical problem sorted cost only Can$110!!

It&#8217;s a quite haven away from the madness outside in the busy streets. We have had a quick holiday to the beach but generally just hanging around here and watching our new baby bump grow!

We are hoping to make a trip to Thailand before we return to BC in June. We are always itching to get to the beaches.

<description>Our window view of the city and mountains
Even though Nha Trang is only a short distance from Ho Chi Minh City in the South, the climate is dramatically different. When we arrived in Ho Chi Minh, we were greeted with torrential rain, thunder storms and lightning. The rain recurs almost every day; it is usually unbearably hot and humid just before the oncoming rain. Here in Nha Trang, it has been nice and sunny. The monsoon season comes in October, five months after it arrives in Ho Chi Minh.

Our getaway retreat in Nha Trang is surrounded by barren mountains and clear blue skies.

Here's a panoramic version

<description>Our train ride to Nha Trang started out at 6am. The coach was comfortable with reclining chairs, LCD panels playing endless Charlie Chaplin silent movies. The attendants in their red uniforms kept busy dishing out blankets, water bottles, and meals that were delicious.
